If life is a book, this blog represents the notes written in the margins, the marginalia if you will. You know the ones, right? The notes you write to remember certain important parts of the main text. The stuff you jot down because what you are reading reminds you of something else that you want to remember later. The things that you write to avoid reading the main text. The doodles you distract yourself with. These are the things that will fill the virtual pages of this blog.
I have, I must admit, an addictive personality – not in the sense that once you meet me, you are hooked, but rather in the sense that I get addicted to things easily. The addictions become deep-seeded but cyclical in nature. This is probably the reason that I have a widely varied set of interests that I refuse to give up. Consequently, the content of marginalia will be open to any number of topics that I’m habitually addicted to including – but not limited to – fibercrafting (knitting, crochet, spinning, dyeing, weaving, sewing, etc.), video games, comics, anime, manga, cooking/baking, reading, writing, photography, culture (pop and otherwise), traveling, architecture, religion and languages.
